Rough Giraffed is a graphic and web design collective based in Norwalk, Connecticut founded by three local creatives: Chris, Jess and Zach. We work together to create attractive and functional websites for our clients both locally and abroad.
With years of experiance in the design industry, we'll build a site that is perfect for you and your business. We take the time to really understand what you and your project need to make you stand out in the vast ocean that is the internet. As a collective, at times we bring in other local artists to aid in the design process with custom illustrations and artwork. We're like an unstopable juggernaut on a path to make your website as cool as you are.
We also have a big heart for our local community. That's why we give special deals to businesses, organizations and people that are out there, fighting the good fight for the Fairfield County area. CHRIS
Chris has worked in the graphic and web design industry for over 5 years. While primarily a digital artist, he is also a photographer and dabbles in many other art mediums. Experienced in building web sites from initial concept through design, development and implementation, Chris understands what it takes to create a site that is not only visually stunning but also simple and easy to use.
JESS
Jess graduated from Fairfield University in 2007 with a double major in Computer Science and Physics. Using both her skills in CS and considerable graphic design ability, Jess has since become accomplished at both web and print design. She has created numerous websites, as well as print materials for diverse clients. Jess brings to the table superior organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
ZACH
Currently a student at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT pursuing a Computer Science degree. Zach has been making web pages as a hobby for over 10 years. Zach's strengths lie in his ability to write clean, concise, and semantic code, using cutting edge web technologies.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
HTML 5, PHP, ASP, CSS 3, Javascript? No problem. Photoshop, Illustraitor, InDesign? Peice o' cake. Illustrations? Check. We've got it all down when it comes to building websites. We'll even set your site up with any of the major content management systems(CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, SiteFinity, ect. Don't know what any of that means? It means we get the job done.
